Predicting that David was not going to make it through this. They needed to do emergency surgery. Victoria ran to call family and friends, but when she returned to David's side the doctors had already taken him into surgery. David survived the surgery, and tried to wake up, but just couldn't... Vicoria has great guilt that she never got to talk to him before surgery, but those of us who knew David knows that his love for Victoria was greater than anything and he knew that she loved him too. I hope to see many friendly faces tonight at the Berger's. It's set for about 2pm, but Victoria is wanting to have it earlier. After there will be a gathering at a friend's house in Carson - Rich and Janice Berger - if you would like the address I will be happy to send it to you via e-mail. I will get the place and time information posted ASAP! Also, a few people have voiced that they would like David's blogs remembered - as soon as we have that completed I will post where you can get one for yourselves. I am sad that I didn't reconnect with Zook until very recently. I am in devestated and deeply saddened by his passing. I barely have any words to write, because I feel so sad inside. My heart aches for his wife and daughter... Life is so unfair. I don't know how we can lose such good people so young..... Rest in Peace, Zook... What a beautiful way to remember a dear friend.
